Steven Ma reconciles with Vivian Hui
4 Oct – Steven Ma has recently confirmed rumours of his reconciliation with his girlfriend of eight years, Vivian Hui, as reported on Asian Crunch website.
Speaking to the media during a commercial shoot on 1 October, the actor admitted, "Yes, it's true. My girlfriend and I did get back together and our relationship is very stable."
However, sensing questions of marriage to follow, Ma stated, "I'm not sure how we will develop in the future. After all, I am happy with both my work and personal life."
When asked if the catering company he is representing will sponsor lobsters for his wedding - the actor, who was demonstrating how to cook six lobster dishes for the commercial, humorously answered, "I'm not going to get marry just because of sponsorship. If they sponsor me a 100 lobsters, then will I have to host a 100 table banquet?"
The actor ended his eight-year relationship with girlfriend, Vivian Hui earlier this year and revealed that they ended the relationship in a positive light. Ma was quoted telling Eileen Cha in a radio interview that he felt his financial situation wasn't stable enough. Not wanting Hui to change her lifestyle, he considered announcing the breakup so that she will find someone new.
Steven Ma also denied rumours of his dating "Legend of Yuan Empire Founder" co-star Yanni and debunked rumours saying that the latter caused his relationship to end.
