Steven Ma quits job with Radio Television Hong Kong
18 Dec - After more than two years since he joined Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) as a Creative Director, Steven Ma recently revealed that he has now quit the position.
The Hong Kong actor shared the news on social media with a photo of him leaving the RTHK building, and captioning it, "Goodbye Radio Hong Kong!"
When asked by Mingpao about the resignation, Steven stated that he actually tendered his resignation last month as there will be a big change to his studies and work next year and he can no longer focus on his work with RTHK and other things.
"I have no choice but to give up. There must be a pause. As for the new direction, it is not convenient to announce it now. The relevant company will announce it in January," he said.
He also thanked the audiences and friends for their support, and said that he will also not be doing any stage plays, movies and TV series for the time being.
