Stella McCartney’s Sport Boots With Adidas Hit Stores
The sneakers that Lukas Gage, Cole Sprouse, Kathryn Newton and Barbara Palvin were wearing during Stella McCartney’s spring 2025 runway show during Paris Fashion Week have landed in stores and online.
The shoes are a collaboration with Adidas — the designer’s longtime collaborator — and have been given the name of Rasant. The name comes from the German word for rapid.

The sneakers take their sporty silhouette from racing and boxing shoes, but with an added edge with the tassels at the back. McCartney wore a similar pair for her debut presentation collection for her eponymous label in 2001.
There are also nods to Adidas’ Monza sneakers from the ‘80s and ‘90s. A pair were worn by French Rallye driver Michèle Mouton in 1980 and it has also been worn by the famous race-car driver Mario Andretti in the ‘70s.
The McCartney pair use vegan leather instead of nubuck leather.
As reported, the British designer’s spring 2025 show was realized with 91 percent sustainable materials and “About F–king Time” caps were placed on every seat along with a copy of The Stella Times, a newspaper detailing McCartney’s conscious approach to luxury and her accomplishments.
The designer said the “About F–king Time” slogan, reprised from a tank top she wore in 1999 when her father Sir Paul was inaugurated into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, could apply to many things — but she surely intended a call to action on environmental issues.
“For me, it’s about f–king time that we stopped killing animals for fashion,” she said. “About one and a half billion birds are killed for fashion a year.…For some reason nobody likes cows, but birds? Everybody loves birds.”
