Southwest Airlines has a bunch of flights across its network on sale for a limited time — and travelers can find deals to Hawaii, the Caribbean, and beyond.

The airline's latest sale must be booked by Thursday, April 11, at 11:59 p.m. PT and is available for travel between April 23 and June 5 and Aug. 6 and Nov. 20. Flights are automatically discounted on Southwest’s website or app for these travel periods and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

“We know low fares and lots of flexibility are top of mind for customers and are thrilled to offer this sale getting customers to the people and places that matter most in their lives,” a spokesperson from Southwest Airlines told T+L about the sale.

Travelers can get a significant discount on last-minute travel in May and June, but all flights must be booked 21 days in advance to take advantage of this discount. However, this latest sale includes dates through the fall for travelers looking to take advantage of discounted tickets later in the year.

Those looking for deals should also check out prices in Southwest Rapid Rewards, as tickets can be booked for as little as 3,000 points and $5.60 in taxes and fees.

It's worth noting that, all travel from Santa Ana is specifically excluded from this promotion, and flights between the continental U.S. and Hawaii, San Juan, or Southwest’s international destinations are blacked out on Tuesday, Sept. 3, for Labor Day travel.

The beloved domestic airline may look a little different to frequent Southwest fliers in the coming months, as it plans to introduce red-eye flights to its schedule to maximize aircraft efficiency. It plans to add up to 50 overnight flights to the schedule, as well as roll out new, slimmer seats in its new Boeing 737-800 and 737 MAX-8 aircraft starting next year.

The changes come as Southwest made other major upgrades to its fleet, including faster Wi-Fi that can be purchased for $8 per flight segment. All passengers can take advantage of free same-day standby changes and digital checked bag tracking on its app.
