Booking a getaway in 2025 just got cheaper.

Southwest Airlines, a Dallas-based air carrier, recently discounted flights throughout the first quarter 2025. As part of the airline’s 2025 Travel Sale the airline is offering tickets as low as $69 for travel between January 7, 2025 and April 27, 2025. Best of all, travelers who are members of Southwest's Rapid Rewards program can also score discounted deals, with reward tickets starting at just 4,600 points one-way.

Travelers will need to act fast, as the sale ends on December 12, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. PST.

Whether a passenger is seeking the thrills of Orlando’s famed theme parks, a winter getaway in the mountains for skiing, or hitting a jackpot in Las Vegas, Travel + Leisure spotted a variety of destinations in the fare sale including:

  • Austin, TX (AUS) to Denver, CO (DEN) from $79

Southwest is offering discounted $49 one-way fares on inter-island travel throughout the sale period. For example, travelers can book one-way tickets between Honolulu (HNL) and Kona (Hawaii Islands - KOA) for only $49. The discounted fares are listed for Hilo, Kahului (Maui), Kona, and Lihue (Kauai)

The airline is also looking to make an impact on philanthropy for the giving season. For travelers looking to help others, Southwest Airlines recently announced an opportunity for its loyalty members to earn additional bonus points for any charity donation made on its website through December 16.
