To this day, Soundstorm remains the most impressive and exclusive musical event in the Middle East – a three-day musical odyssey part of ‘The Loudest Week in Riyadh’. Soundstorm’s fourth year was a sellout, welcoming over 100 artists across eight stages, including some of the biggest names in music and local and regional acts. A pulsating celebration of sound and culture, the festival drew attendees from across the world.
Taking place from 14-16th December, the star-studded lineup featured artists including the Black Eyed Peas, Will Smith, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Calvin Harris, Travis Scott, Martin Garrix, Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown. Rap luminaries celebrated on the heels of the Grammy’s Salute to 50 Years of Hip Hop, a testament to the global unifying power of music. Epic musical moments happened along the way. Will Smith and DJ Jazzy Jeff reunited; Metallica played its inaugural performance in the country; Saudi female artists like Cosmicat, Dorar, and Solskin wowed the crowd.
But Soundstorm isn’t just a music festival – it’s a cultural experience.
