The couple both incorporated fun punches of color and laidback athleisure elements into their respective outfits.
Turner and Jonas secretly tied the knot in Las Vegas after their joint appearance at the Billboard Music Awards 2019. The couple is still set to wed in France this summer, according to People.
Newlyweds Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas looked stylish as they stepped out in New York ahead of the Met Gala 2019. Although it was raining, the dreary weather didn't stop the couple from incorporating a spring color palette into their wardrobe.
Turner is still embracing her inner Baby Spice with her modern take on Emma Bunton's signature ponytail hairstyle from the '90s. She wore a cropped pink top and matching track pants, chunky sneakers, and a chocolate brown suede jacket with shearling trim. The Game of Thrones star added an edgy pair of brown '90s-inspired face-framing sunglasses reminiscent of The Matrix.
Jonas looked equally dapper. His orange bomber jacket and gold watch gave his casual look an elevated streetwear vibe.
As you may recall, after they dipped early from the 2019 Billboard Music Awards (where Sophie wore the most insane Louis Vuitton jumpsuit to the carpet), the couple pulled off a highly-secretive wedding in Las Vegas at A Little White Wedding Chapel. During the ceremony, Turner rocked a gorgeous Bevza silk jumpsuit with Loeffler Randall Gold Penny Knot Mules. Footage from the celebrity-filled wedding ceremony went viral after DJ-producer Diplo's Instagram Story was picked up by GoT and Jonas Brothers fan accounts.
Thankfully, you won't have to wait to see one of your favorite GoT couples flex their covetable style. It is highly likely that both Turner and Jonas will grace tonight's Met Gala red carpet together. (Lady Gaga and Harry Styles will host this year's celebration, which is themed "Camp: Notes on Fashion"). Turner is an ambassador for Louis Vuitton and has previously sported stunning gowns by Nicolas Ghesquière to the annual party. Jonas wore custom H&M to the 2017 celebration.
