Sophia Senoron admits backlash from ElNella fans

22 Jun – Miss Multinational 2018 Sophia Senoron admitted that she was not immune from being the subject of ElNella fans' wrath after being paired up with Elmo Magalona in their upcoming movie, "Walwal".

As reported on ABS-CBN, the beauty queen who made her acting debut through the upcoming film, admitted that she understands where the fans are coming from in their criticism about her onscreen partnership with Magalona, but that people need to understand that acting is not real life.

"It's my first movie, so I really want to make it work. I respect Elmo, I respect the relationship so much. I know how much you invest in the relationship," she said.

When asked if she is admitting that Magalona is indeed dating his onscreen partner Janella Salvador, the beauty queen said that it is not her place to say anything about the love team.

"I am not part of it," she added.

Senoron is not the only victim of fans' wrath. Earlier, actor Jameson Blake was criticised after being paired up with Salvador in their movie, "So Connected".
