Sonia Sui: I would still work even if I moved to the US!

21 Aug – Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui recently addressed yet again reports that she plans to retire from showbiz when she appeared at a brand event with husband Tony Chia.

As reported on Epoch Times, the actress, who previously stated that she has plans to leave showbiz and move to the United States with her businessman husband and their two kids, told the media at the event that it is too early for her to say that she will retire.

"If there is no job out there for me, I would feel like I have no output value. But yes, there are plans for us to settle in the United States."

When asked about her previous statement that she would be leaving the country in three years' time the earliest, Sonia said that that was only an estimate.

"We still don't have a real answer yet. The most important thing is our children's education. We hope that they could start their middle school in the States. But since they are still young, everything is still in the plan," she said.

Nonetheless, Sonia stressed that she will not stop working just because she is moving to a different country.

"I am not the kind of person who can just stop working. I still balance my family time and work. Even if I live in the United States, I will still accept a good job is there is any," she said.

In related news, Sonia revealed that she has also found script that she liked, and will be making her screen comeback as soon as early next year.
