Sonia Sui addresses reports of a possible retirement
19 Aug – Taiwanese model-actress Sonia Sui recently assured that she is not going anywhere anytime soon, following reports about her plans to move to the United States with husband Tony Chia.
As reported on World Journal, reports about her supposed retirement sparked recently, when Sonia, who sat for an interview on "Si Duan Hong Ren Hui", shared that she felt sorry for her husband, who has to travel most of the time as his work would often take him to the United States.
"The time may come for me to return to the United States with him. If there is a stable job for me in the country, I would do it. That way, I won't be a burden," she said.
She also revealed that she has plans to do so in four to five years' time, and might even leave Taiwan in three years' time if everything goes well.
Following the reports, many fans began flooding Sonia's social media accounts with questions about a possible retirement.
In response to the issue, the actress recently posted online that the media had taken her words too seriously.
"I would also pay equal attention to my work and personal life," she added.
