Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin threaten legal action over divorce rumour
22 Mar – Son Ye-Jin and Hyun Bin are threatening legal measures against those who spread fake news regarding their marriage.
On 20 March, Hyun's management VAST Entertainment released a statement to the media denying rumours of marital woe between the couple, saying that, "We are monitoring the rumours in real time and plan to take strong legal action."
Meanwhile, Son's agency Esteem Entertainment echoed the sentiment, saying that it was fake news. They also added that they have requested YouTube to delete the videos.
The stern warning came after a YouTuber uploaded a video titled, "Hyun Bin and Son Ye-Jin divorce in six months of marriage... Shocking!", claiming that Son was demanding divorce from the actor due to his gambling problems.
The couple, who starred in the hit series, "Crash Landing On You", tied the knot in March last year. They welcomed their first child in November.
