Snowy Bai too busy to join Hong Kong protest

20 Jun – Hong Kong actress Snowy Bai admitted that she felt sorry for not being able to join the march in protest of the recent amendments to the Hong Kong extradition bill.

As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who appeared at the launch of a restaurant recently, shared that she came upon some protesters while on her way to the venue.

"They were clad in black and were giving me strange and questioning eyes. It made me feel very uncomfortable," she said.

Snowy stated that the only reason that she was unable to attend the march was due to her work schedule.

"People in Hong Kong are not happy right now. It really dampens my mood as well. I wanted to upload a happy photo of me diving on social media, but I decided to delete it later on because of the current situation," she said.

Speaking about her new love of diving, the actress stated that she is interested in starting a business related to the sports.

"I would love to open my own diving equipment shop. I am also planning to become a professional diving instructor and shoot a short movie to raise awareness about environmental protection," she said.
