A Sleek Seaside Villa on Ibiza Just Hit the Market for $18 Million

You can’t beat the views in Ibiza, and one of the island’s best vantage points just might be from Villa Solstice, a brand-new ultra-modern home atop a high, rocky cliff overlooking the west side of the Spanish island.

Asking a cool €16.5 million (or about $18 million), the eye-catchingly geometric residence is perched above Cala Tarida, famed for its white sand beaches and crystal-clear blue waters. The striking pad, originally designed by award-winning Belgian architect Bruno Erpicum, recently underwent an extensive renovation at the hands of local interior and architectural studio Go +.

“Villa Solstice is one of the most incredible frontline villas to come to the market in Ibiza for many years,” Charlie Hill, co-founder of real estate agency Charles Marlow, says in a press statement. “The villa makes the most of the superb sea views and sunsets from nearly every corner of the house, with expansive floor-to-ceiling windows.”

The bright and airy home has dramatic windows and high ceilings.

Clocking in at 5,381 square feet, the swoon-worthy spread comprises six bedrooms and six bathrooms. The abode is decked out with soaring 13-foot ceilings and tons of high-end finishes like multi-level lighting from Panzeri and Olev, beige limestone floors, and a statement fireplace in ivory-veined black Siena stone. In the kitchen, you’ll find an eat-in island and an eight-person dining table. Elsewhere, the primary suite sports a water-facing soaking tub, a private lounge area, and a dressing room.

“Where its bright white exterior makes a statement as seen from the sea, the refurbishing of the interior brings natural textures, a warm color palette, and the glow of natural wood,” adds Hill. “At the same time, light and shadows play across the interior throughout the day, a never-ending study of angles, showing off the best of this design.”

The heated pool and shade cabana overlook the sea.

Of course, the house packs a ton of perks for those who would prefer to spend their time outdoors, too. The focal point of the terraced backyard is a massive, heated infinity pool, along with a jacuzzi and a shade pavilion. There are also multiple terraces, an alfresco kitchen and dining area, plus a sunken lounge with a fire pit.

“Villa Solstice is perfect for stylish, boho elegance-seeking buyers who are looking for expansive views, ample entertaining space with fine finishings, and unfettered access to the sea,” says Hill. “I can see the villa appealing to those looking for the very best lifestyle that Ibiza has to offer.” Indeed, Villa Solstice is so appealing that it even had a starring role in the season two finale of Machos Alfa (Alpha Males in English), a Spanish TV series on Netflix.
