Siti Saleha wins Outstanding Asian Star at the Seoul Drama Awards
26 Sep - Siti Saleha was recently honoured with the Outstanding Asian Star Award for Malaysia at the Seoul International Drama Awards.
The actress, who appeared at the event clad in a pale-yellow dress, expressed elation over the win, saying that she felt proud to be able to not only represent Malaysia, but to prove that there are lots of talented actors in Malaysia who are able to expand their talent internationally.
"I hope that through this platform, we can prove that Malaysians have so much more to offer," she said.
Asked if she would spread her wings further following the honour, Saleha said that she is ready for that, though she would not say goodbye to the local entertainment scene.
Aside from the "SeOfis" star, other international names that won similar awards include Desmond Tan (Singapore), Ochi Rosdiana (Indonesia), Win Metawin (Thailand), and Kim Chiu (the Philippines).
