Siti Nurhaliza slows down promotion to focus on relief aid

1 Dec - It is not that she doesn't want to promote her new album with much enthusiasm, but according to Dato' Sri Siti Nurhaliza, the time is not right for her to do so.

In a response to a netizen on X, who questioned the lack of promotions for "Sitism", the Malaysian songbird responded, "Please be patient. We have our brothers and sisters in Palestine who need help more."

It is noted that Siti has been busy working with her Nurjiwa Foundation in sending aid to the people in both Gaza and the West Bank; from promoting her relief fund to working with big names to get more financial aid for her cause.

The singer, who previously planned to hold a large-scale concert, has also postponed the project for another kind of charity concert next March.

"Sitism", which was released in September, contained eight songs from various big name composers including Aubrey Suwito, Melly Goeslaw, and Tomok.
