Siti Nurhaliza says COVID-19 has affected her stamina and breathing

8 Nov - Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza recently revealed that she is still experiencing difficulties in performing after previously having had COVID-19.

The legendary singer, who held a two-day show called "Music of Soul" at the Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur last weekend, stated that she is always wary of getting flu or cough as a performer.

"But this is COVID-19. I had a long bout of coughing and I can still feel the effect. Since I was tested positive previously, my breathing has been quite affected by it," she said.

Siti added that belting her songs has become much harder because of it.

"So, I have been working hard to regain my stamina and breathing, and I have done a lot of fitness workouts including Muay Thai," she explained.

On the other hand, Siti said that she is thankful for the reception at her concert, which was held to fund her Nurjiwa Foundation.

The singer performed 18 songs at the concert, and even invited rock legend Datuk Awie to perform alongside on stage.
