Siti Nurhaliza announces IVF programme for couples

26 Jul – Siti Nurhaliza recently announced that her and husband Dato' Khalid Mohd Jiwa's foundation Nurjiwa is sponsoring couples who dream of having their own child.

Sharing the good news on Instagram, the songstress stated that the foundation's new programme, "IVF Nurjiwa: Sempurnakan Sebuah Cinta" will only need those interested to fulfill the eligibility criteria.

These include being a Malaysian citizen, joint-earning of not more than RM 6,000, being married for more than five years, with the wife being not more than 36 years of age.

The couple will also have to pass the fertility examination under Alhaya Fertility Centre, though the cost will have to be borne by the couple themselves.

"The application is limited to the first 20 couples," she added.

It is noted that Siti herself, who tied the knot with her entrepreneur husband in 2006, successfully conceived and gave birth to her daughter, Siti Aafiyah in 2018 through IVF.

She later welcomed son Muhammad Afwa through similar process in 2021.
