Siti Nordiana excited to sing with Udit Narayan
14 Feb - Siti Nordiana still can't believe that she will soon be on the same stage as the renowned Indian playback singer, Udit Narayan.
The singer, who will be performing a duet with the Bollywood icon at his "A Lovely Night with Udit Narayan" concert in Penang this April, said that she has been a fan of his since she was a child.
"I thought I was only going to be the opening act, but then was told I would be performing a duet with him. I am speechless. Udit is an icon of Bollywood songs, and I grew up listening to him," she said.
Nonetheless, Nana admitted that she still sees the performance as a challenge and will try her best to give an amazing performance.
"I am quite nervous because he is a very talented singer, and his vocals are second to none despite his age. But I will do my best," she said.
Other performers at the event include Udit's son Aditya Narayan, Nadya Fharshah, Mamuji and Ar Wanz.
