Singer and fashion prodigy YOSHI passed away
8 Nov – Hong Kong-Japanese singer YOSHI has recently passed away following a motor vehicle accident.
As reported on Sina, the singer died after he was taken to the hospital on 5 November, following a collision between his motorcycle and a truck at the intersection of Kawasaki City in Kanagawa.
On the other hand, the driver of the truck has been arrested on suspicion of violating the Automobile Driving Punishment Act.
Born in 2003, YOSHI first became famous after he received acknowledgement from the late fashion designer Virgil Abloh for his bold style at the tender age of 13, eventually becoming a model for many brands.
The son of a Hong Kong native, YOSHI (real name Kasumi Sasaki) was selected by Forbes magazine as one of Japan's 30 under 30 who changed the world. He then made his debut as a singer in 2019 and participated later in the TV programme, "Yoshiki Superstar Project".
He was 19.
