Fans of the adorable range of Disney stuffed toys in Singapore will now be able to see their larger-than-life counterparts in a roving parade next Thursday (2 March).

The Tsum Tsum parade will start at 4.30pm from Bugis Junction, Bugis Square Level 1, and will end at 5.45pm at the Plaza Singapura Atrium.

Fans can join in the event and walk alongside six two-metre tall inflatables of popular Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Olaf and many more.

The parade will kick off a Tsum Tsum carnival in Singapore, and is touted to be the largest interactive event of its kind in Southeast Asia.

Shoppers will be able to see carnival sets recreated from the Tsum Tsum short film series, as well as displays of stackable characters and other interactive ‘stations’ in various CapitaLand malls around the island.

Disney Tsum Tsum (pronounced as “soom soom”, which also means “stack stack” in Japanese) are a range of collectible rectangular plushies based on Disney characters (even some recently acquired franchises like Marvel and Star Wars make appearances). The idea is that these plushies can be stacked on top of one another to form mountains of cuteness.
