Singapore model-actress Sheila Sim ties the knot with banker

Singapore actress Sheila Sim tied the knot with banker Deon Woo on Sunday (28 January).

The wedding was attended by close friends from the industry including actor Romeo Tan and Elvin Ng.

The 33-year-old actress and co-founder of talent management agency Nu Management met her 37-year-old hubby via a dating app. After six months of dating, Woo proposed to Sim on New Year’s Eve, during a trip in Japan.

According to media reports, Sim is currently involved in the production of Channel 8 drama “Reach for the Skies”, which will only end in September.

She first appeared on television as an actress in a 2013 drama called “I’m In Charge”.

She announced her marriage on her Instagram on Sunday with the words: “With you, I am home.”
