Simon Yam wants to direct Kara Hui in romance movie

24 Sep - Although he can't have Kara Hui in his action project, Simon Yam believes that they should still work together one way or another.

As reported on Mingpao, the actor, who appeared at the promotional event of "Mrs K" alongside the actress, stated that while he is saddened by Kara's retirement, it doesn't mean that he is scraping off the plan to work with Kara in future projects.

"We should do a romance film instead. It would be like [Herman Yau's] "Sara". I think she is sexy from within, and an older version of Sara will be very suitable for Kara," he said.

When asked if she would say yes to Simon's proposal, Kara laughed and said that she should read the script first.

"If I have to bare all, I think I need half a year just to shape up," she said.
