We just found out that Sia is playing a character in the upcoming My Little Pony film, and now everything just makes sense.

In My Little Pony: The Movie, Sia will be playing Songbird Serenade, a pony pop star that rocks a mane just like Sia’s signature hair do: a black-and-white wig topped with an oversized bow.

Similar to this look that was posted on her Instagram page a couple months ago:

This will be Sia’s first role as an official actress in a film — which is fitting, considering the title of her new album is This is Acting.

She’ll also contribute two original songs to My Little Pony, which makes this news even more perfect.

Team Sia tweeted a first-look at Songbird Serenade: “Here’s Sia as Songbird Serenade for the #MyLittlePony movie. Check out her #cutiemark!”

Adorbs, right?

Sia is joining a kickass cast, including: Uzo Aduba, Emily Blunt, Kristen Chenoweth, Taye Diggs, Michael Pena and Live Schrieber — as well as the voice actors from the TV show.

My Little Pony is set to trot (yep) into theaters on Oct. 6th, 2017.
