Shuib shares first photo with fiancee following engagement ceremony
9 May – After announcing their engagement on 6 May, radio personality Shuib now finally shares his first photo with new fiancée, Watie Hanifiah.
The comedian shared the said photo of the two of them with the rest of his children, who seemed happy to be around their future stepmother. Daughter Talita can be seen wrapping her arms around Watie and holding the bouquet, while two-year-old Ayash Affan was sat on her lap, signifying her readiness to be their new guardian.
He captioned the photo with a verse from the Quran that read, "He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth! When He decrees a matter, He simply tells it, "Be!" And it is!"
"May Allah ease our path," he added.
Meanwhile, Watie posted a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram, and wrote, "Allah's timing is perfect in every matter. We don't always understand the wisdom behind it but we have to learn to trust it."
Shuib first announced the engagement on 6 May via a video on Instagram Story, saying, "Today, on 6 May 2023, praise be to God, I just got engaged to Watie. I hope that you can bless us so that everything is made with ease. Pray good things for us, okay?"
Shuib, real name Shahmira Muhammad, lost wife Siti Sarah Raisuddin in August 2021 due to COVID-19, not long after she gave birth to their fourth child.
