Shirley Kwan: Don't worry about me!

16 May - Following the news that she has been officially charged for assault and intimidation, Cantopop singer Shirley Kwan recently went online to assure everyone that she is fine.

As reported on Liberty Times, the singer, who declined to be interviewed by the media as she left the police station recently, posted a message on her social media account on 12 May.

She wrote, "Dearest to all of fans, friends [and] reporters. I'm fine at this moment. I would like to express to all of you that you don't have to worry about me. I do appreciate [and] you guys will always [be] in my heart, no matter what will happen."

She continued, "[Thanks] for everything within all these years. My passion towards being a recording [and] performing singer will never dim. I will be there. [Please] be happy [and] not to worry. I'm fortunate to have so many [people] that loves [and] cares for me deep down in your heart."

In a later post, she asked the media and the public to protect her 15-year-old son and not let him be hurt, and to let him have some space.
