Shirley Cheung admits to dating businessman Calvin Lo
31 Jul – Shirley Cheung recently admitted that she is now dating Calvin Lo, the former on-and-off boyfriend of actress Bernice Liu.
The TV presenter confirmed the news following rumours of their romance, after they were seen at Donnie Yen and Cissy Wang's 20th wedding anniversary celebration in Italy.
Speaking to the media about their relationship, Shirley stated that the two were introduced by a mutual friend. She added that they share similar world view and values about life, and that the relationship has been developing well.
As to whether she has any issue with Calvin being a divorcee, the actress stated in contrary, and that she loves the fact that he is a filial son and a good father.
As for the controversy surrounding the businessman, who was accused of faking his purported wealth by Forbes, Shirley stated that she doesn't care about it, and that it doesn't matter if he has the net worth of a billion dollars or not.
It is noted that Calvin's company has issued a statement regarding the issue, saying that the article about the businessman constitutes defamation and infringement.
