Shila Amzah and Ubai admit challenges since engagement
6 Jul – Shila Amzah and fiancé Ubai admitted that there have been lots of challenges since the two announced their engagement.
The singer revealed to Melodi recently that while there is the usual backlash, some even prayed that their relationship will not last and suggested some other men for her.
"Of course it hurt me. Ubai knows the most. People even hope that we would break up," she said.
On the other hand, Ubai stated that he also experienced lots of trials since they got engaged, with many took to social media to insult and slam both he and Shila.
"But we can't please everyone, so all we can do is not retaliate the same as what these people did and would do," he added.
It was back in May that Shila and Ubai announced that they are engaged to be married, several months after revealing that the two are in a relationship.
