Shila Amzah: Siti Munirah is not my best friend!
14 Apr – Shila Amzah has dismissed the notion that the woman named Siti Munirah who is said to be her father ND Lala's second wife was her own best friend.
The singer, who was previously reported to be best friends with Siti Munirah in high school, admitted that the two went to the same school but that the other party is not worthy of being called a best friend.
"Yes, of course I know her. To me, no good person would act like that. I have neither good nor bad things to say about her. It's not worth to love or hate. I don't think she deserves any kind of feelings from me," she said.
Shila admitted that the two were close in school and that Siti Munirah would often stay the night at her family's place.
"She would share her problems with me. But then we grew apart as we get older. She was closer to my mother than me after graduating high school. This is fact and I have to clarify this because she is not my best friend," she said.
As for the marital woe befallen her mother Fauziah Sarman following news of ND Lala's second marriage, Shila said that she will give her mother her full support.
"But I am not coddling her too much. This has happened to me before, so all I can say is you have to find the strength yourself," she added.
