Shila Amzah not distracted by Sharnaaz Ahmad's presence
28 Sep - Shila Amzah recently assured that she was not at all affected by the presence of her former boyfriend Sharnaaz Ahmad during her performance on the hit singing competition, "Gegar Vaganza".
The singer, who performed the Liza Hanim ballad "Getaran Cinta Di Jiwa" for the second week's challenge, stated that she was okay with host Elly Mazlein teasing the two of them after noticing Sharnaaz in the audience.
"I'm fine. I love [Elly], and the way she teased me, it wasn't too much. She was being playful," she said. "I was not affected because I know she was just joking."
During the show, Elly made a joke about the awkwardness between the two, saying that there may be a possibility for them to rekindle their past romance, prompting both parties to react in a jokingly awkward manner.
Asked about her thoughts on seeing the actor in the audience, Shila stated that she was not distracted and even made eye contact with Sharnaaz one time.
"But he was wearing shades, so I'm not sure if he was looking at me or not," she added.
It is noted that the two dated in the early 2010s with the intention to marry, before Sharnaaz decided to break it off due to disagreements with Shila's parents.
