Shila Amzah and mum finally reconcile a year after huge row
30 Sep - It looks like everything is well between singer Shila Amzah and her mother, Fauziah Sarman, nearly a year since the breakdown of their relationship.
On 28 September, Fauziah posted several photos on Instagram Story from an event of aqeeqah (an Islamic tradition synonymous with the birth of a new child) for her new grandchild, Rhea Akira, who is the daughter of Shila with husband Ubaidillah Zulkefli aka Ubai Mz.
She captioned the photos with triple heart emojis and the song "Alhamdulillah".
Fauziah also posted another photo with Shila herself, making it the first photo of them together since the last one she posted in August to wish her daughter a happy birthday.
It was back in October 2023 that Shila and half of her family were involved in a huge row following her plans to sell the house she owned of which her family had been residing. It prompted the singer to express her feelings about being the breadwinner for her family since she was a child, a video which had since gone viral.
