Shiga Lin admits breakup with boyfriend of three years
15 Apr – Shiga Lin recently confirmed that she and singer Terry Chui have called it quits on their three-year relationship.
As reported on Mingpao, the singer who was rumoured to have ended her romance with Terry last month, revealed that the two of them have actually broken up much earlier than that and are now back to being just friends.
"We've broken up for a while now. Both of us felt that we're better off being good friends and working partners. But it is not easy to end a relationship, so I hope everybody will give us some space," she said.
As for why the relationship ended, Shiga said that they have different values in certain things and that it had been difficult to achieve an agreement in talks about marriage or cohabitation.
"Thank you for everybody's concern. I hope everyone will take care of their health and that the pandemic will end soon so that we don't have to wear masks anymore and can enjoy ourselves again," she said.
