Shen Teng and Lin Yun deny rumours of romance

12 Feb - Actors Jelly Lin Yun and Shen Teng have recently dismissed rumours which allege that they are now dating each other.

Rumours of romance between the two sparked recently, after a netizen posted on Weibo saying that the two have secretly developed feelings for each other while filming the variety show, "Ma Hua te Kaixin".

The netizen alleged that Shen, who is 16 years Lin's senior, even tried to help Lin's career by recommending her to TV and movie producers.

In response to the rumours, Lin's agency said that the whole thing was fabricated.

"The Internet is not a place outside the law. Do not make or spread rumours. Regarding the malicious rumors, insults and defamation made by some netizens against Ms. Lin Yun, we will continue to collect evidence and will use legal means to protect Ms. Lin Yun's rights and interests in accordance with the law!" the company stated.

Meanwhile, Shen responded via his rep, "Fake. I wish you all a good start and a Happy New Year."
