Shawn Dou slams rumours of his supposed new mansion
26 Apr - Shawn Dou has recently slammed the Chinese media over the exaggeration regarding his supposed new home with his recently-wedded wife, Laurinda Ho.
As reported on Oriental Daily, tabloids recently published a claim made by a mainland real estate developer that Laurinda has been gifted as a dowry a new house that is priced at RMB 800 million.
The developer alleged that the mansion is located in an elite area near the Forbidden City in Beijing, covering an area of more than 35,000 sq. feet.
The mansion is also reportedly equipped with a swimming pool, a gymnasium, and a huge garden covering an area of more than 48,000 sq. feet.
In response to the claim, Shawn's studio took to Weibo to deny it, sharing various articles about the mansion and writing, "Fake! Relevant evidence has been collected. The internet is not a place free from law. Please stop spreading rumours and fake news."
Previously, it was reported that Shawn and Laurinda's Bali wedding cost a hefty USD 6.2 million.
