Shaun Tam denies Ti Lung in critical condition
17 Aug – Shaun Tam has recently dismissed rumours that his father, legendary actor Ti Lung has been hospitalised in critical condition.
As reported on China Times, earlier, several news outlets reported that the veteran star had passed out while taking a bath, and had to be rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.
However, when asked about Ti Lung's condition, the TVB actor assured that his father is in good health and was not admitted to the hospital as reported. He also stated that the veteran star often comes for a visit to see his grandchildren.
It is noted that Shaun himself previously revealed that his father had not been in the best of health, stating that Ti Lung had once fainted while filming in mainland China.
"I hope that he can retire," said Shaun, "but my father loves movies, so he will continue to make them if there are opportunities."
