Sharon Kwok wants privacy for Elaine Ng

1 Nov – Hong Kong actress and Elaine Ng's good friend Sharon Kwok is urging the public to let the former Miss Asia and her daughter with Jackie Chan, Etta Ng deal with their own problems in private.

As reported on Mingpao, earlier, Elaine made the news again recently after she was revealed to have reported a burglary at her home to the police, only to have the 17-year-old telling the media that she was the one who came home to get some of her belongings.

"Their mother-daughter relationship has always been fine, but this time it's a bit tense," said Sharon, "The daughter is currently in her rebellious stage, and will want to do whatever she wants. Both sides need to calmly deal with each other."

Sharon said that as outsiders, other people should not add more insult to injury.

"We should let the social workers deal with this," she added.

The actress also stated that every family will have such conflict, and that she believes the issue between Elaine and Etta will not last long.
