Sharon Hsu gives birth to first child

28 Jun – Sharon Hsu has given birth to her first child, a daughter that she and husband Edison Wang nicknamed Te Te.

The news was confirmed by Edison's manager, saying that the Taiwanese actress gave birth to their daughter via C-section on the afternoon of 26 June, and that the baby weighs 3.36kg.

Both mother and baby are doing well.

The couple have been married for two years, with Sharon, now 41, previously admitted to have experience difficulties throughout the pregnancy due to her age.

The two announced the pregnancy back in January.

Prior to giving birth, Sharon posted a photo of her pregnant belly for the last time on 23 June, writing, "We will see each other in three days."
