After a long day of work, we couldn’t help but be drawn to the plethora of dining options Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur offers. Among the diverse restaurants available, Lemon Garden truly stood out to us. This exceptional restaurant offers a global culinary journey, featuring a tantalising array of cuisines for every palate. 

From delightful Asian delicacies to beloved Western classics, the menu leaves no craving unsatisfied. The highlight of the experience is witnessing the captivating spectacle of culinary craftsmanship. Watch as the talented chefs showcase their skills at live cooking stations, preparing mouthwatering dishes for you.

As we explored the bountiful choices available at the buffet, it was the fresh and seasonal seafood that truly stole the show. Carefully sourced and thoughtfully prepared by the team of chefs, indulging in these succulent treasures from the ocean was an absolute delight. Every bite revealed distinctive nuances of flavour, allowing us to savour the true essence of the finest seafood delicacies.

The seafood spread was a sight to behold, encompassing a wide variety from crabs to oysters and clams, offering an extensive selection from the depths of the sea. Sushi enthusiasts will be overjoyed to know that the chef prepares fresh sashimi right before your eyes guaranteeing the highest level of freshness and flavour.

A standout highlight was the freshly-shucked oysters, carefully imported to ensure the ultimate in freshness. Their oysters are imported from Puget Sound, Washington and are only served in limited amounts throughout the day! However, my personal preference was for the prawns. Often, buffets create an illusion of freshness with their prawns, only for them to be days old. This was certainly not the case at Lemon Garden, as the sweetness and pristine taste of the prawns truly showcased their freshness, leaving a lasting impression.

No buffet experience can be considered complete without treating yourself to sinful desserts., am I right? The dessert station at Lemon Garden was a haven for both Malaysian sweet treats and classic pastries. 

From crispy pisang goreng (fried bananas) to a variety of delectable mousse and even a tantalising burnt durian cheesecake, you’re really spoiled for choice.

Final thoughts

To put it simply, my experience at Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur was nothing short of extraordinary. The exceptional hospitality, stunning architecture, and remarkable culinary offerings left an indelible mark on me. From the warm and friendly staff to the luxurious amenities, every aspect of my stay exuded a sense of comfort and opulence. 

Whether it was the meticulously designed rooms, the divine flavours of the buffet, or the immersive ambience throughout the hotel, Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur truly captured my heart. It is a place where I felt pampered, rejuvenated, and inspired. Given the chance, I would eagerly make Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur my home away from home, where each day would be filled with exceptional experiences and unparalleled luxury.
