Shally Davies stars in "Case II" for Edmond Poon
28 Aug - Cecilia Cheung's mother Shally Davies has recently made her movie debut through a supporting role in the upcoming supernatural movie, "Case II".
As reported on Oriental Daily, the 55-year-old, who plays the role of a suicide victim's mother, revealed that she decided to take the offer to do the movie after finding out that she will be working with supernatural show host, Edmond Poon.
"I am a super fan of Edmond. That's why I took the offer," she enthused.
When asked if she had run into anything scary during filming, Shally stated that she got dizzy while visiting the set at the Wo Hop Shek Cemetery.
"I never had that feeling before, so they quickly hold a ceremony to appease the souls there and to put us at ease," she said.
Meanwhile, Edmond was full of praises for Davies, saying that she would qualify for the Best New Actress award.
In a previous interview, Davies was asked if her daughter Cecilia had given her any advice on acting, to which she responded, "I didn't even tell her about it."
