Live Like Shakira for $11.6 Million—Her Miami Beach Home is for Sale
Grammy Award-winning artist Shakira has listed her newly renovated Miami Beach home, located at 3140 North Bay Road Drive, for $11.6 million. The 20,726-square-foot waterfront property, which features a minimalist aesthetic, boasts six bedrooms and seven-and-a-half bathrooms.
Elements of the singer's Colombian-Lebanese background are clearly evident throughout the home with everything from bone inlaid pieces and handmade decorative mirrors to a “hookah" lounge area in the entertainment wing (of course) and Venetian-plaster walls.
When it came to renovating the home, which was purchased in 2001, Shakira didn't hold back. The lucky buyer will enjoy a slew of updates, including a front door imported from Europe, wood flooring from Spain, a fully revamped master bathroom, and landscaping.
The artist is also making the transaction a family affair-her brother, Antonio Mebarak with Douglas Elliman, is co-listing the property with fellow agent Ana Lourdes Martinez.
