Seventh suspect has been arrested in Abby Choi's murder investigation

9 Mar – A seventh suspect has now been arrested in connection to the violent murder of Hong Kong model Abby Choi.

The suspect, a woman surnamed Pun, aged 29, was detained in mainland China and was charged with one count of assisting an offender.

Pun is said to be a social media influencer who has more than 30,000 followers on Instagram, and would often post photos with celebrities in showbiz.

Sources also claimed that Pun is a friend of Abby's ex-husband who introduced him to the person in charge of the yacht company who assisted in his attempt to flee.

Including her, the police have now arrested Abby's ex-husband Alex Kwong, her former father-in-law Kwong Kau, former mother-in-law Jenny Li Sui-Heung, former brother-in-law Anthony Kwong Kong-Kit, Kwong Kau's 47-year-old mistress surnamed Ng, and 41-year-old Lam Shun - a staffer of a yacht company, also a friend of Alex.

It was back on 24 February, when 28-year-old model and socialite Abby Choi was found murdered, with her headless body discovered at a village in Tai Po, three days after she was reported missing.
