SINGAPORE — Get your wellness on at the Zentosa LiveWELL Festival, which is set to return to Sentosa from 10 June to 9 July.

Sentosa Development Corporation (SDC) said in a media release on Wednesday (10 May) that the festival will host over 250 activities covering five holistic pillars of wellness: physical wellness (PlayWELL), relationship building (BondWELL), mind and soul nurturing (FeelWELL), healthy eating (EatWELL) and mindful resting (RestWELL).

The festival, which began last year under the name Zentosa Fest, will be held in collaboration with Wellness Festival Singapore. It will offer a range of experiences all across Sentosa Island, suitable for both Singapore residents and guests looking for a novel approach to wellness.

Mental and emotional wellness

Festival attendees can engage in activities such as Zumba, boxing and martial arts, aqua biking, K-pop dance classes, Muay Thai, Yoga and many others.

A highlight of the festival will be an immersive mental and emotional wellness zone, FeelWELL at Fort Siloso, that will showcase art installations and poetry created by local artists Kult Studio & Gallery and Charlene Shepherdson.

Guests can walk through three tunnels of Fort Siloso and ink their pledge of commitment to their wellness journey on a coloured ribbon at a temporary art installation at Fort Siloso Skywalk.

The festival will open on 10 June with a 5km "Discovery Walk" through Sentosa, led by Korean mixed martial artist and judoka Choo Sung-hoon - better known by his nickname Sexyama - who most recently appeared on Netflix reality competition series "Physical: 100".

Other noteworthy sessions include yoga sessions with Yenny Christine and calisthenics with celebrity coach Jacob Manning, held in partnership with True Fitness. Festival-goers can also walk alongside local artistes and celebrities in Pa Pa Zou, a community initiative founded by Singaporean filmmaker Jack Neo.

Higher intensity workout sessions include Silent Kickboxing, Beach Pop Cycle - an energetic cycling session by the beach and Barre classes.

Wellness staycation at Sentosa hotels

Festival-goers can engage in activities such as a scavenger hunt, a therapeutic walk and play nostalgic childhood games. Art activities such as hands-on therapeutic horticulture workshops, pressed flowers and moss art making and beach tufting will also be available.

Other offerings include wellness staycation programmes at participating hotels in Sentosa, healthier menu options at eateries like Rumours Beach Club, Siloso Beach Resort and Quayside Isle and family bonding packages across selected Sentosa attractions.

Tickets for activities and experiences at Zentosa LiveWELL Festival Village will be priced at $10 or $15 per session. They will go on sale from 18 May. Sentosa Islander members will be able to enjoy a 20 per cent discount off bookings.
