Selena Lee is excited about Canadian Screen Awards
22 Feb – Although she is unsure about the possibility of her winning Best Supporting Actress at the upcoming Canadian Screen Awards, TVB actress Selena Lee is just as happy to get a nomination at the prestigious event.
As reported on Mingpao, the actress, who was nominated for her role in the Canadian TV show, "Blood and Water", shared that she has already achieved something great from the nomination itself by being the first Chinese actress to be nominated in the category.
"All the nominees are great. There is a little confidence, but the drama producer did think I have done well," she enthused.
Selena also said that she would try her best to attend the event - which will be held in March - despite her busy schedule.
On the other hand, the actress also expressed happiness for best friend Nancy Wu, who was nominated in the Best Newcomer category at the Hong Kong Film Awards for "Men on the Dragon".
"I am very happy that the two of us are nominated for awards other than TVB," she said.
