Selena Lee celebrates 17th anniversary in showbiz

27 Aug – With TVB announcing the finalists of the 2020 Miss Hong Kong pageant, Selena Lee took to social media to celebrate her own milestone in her showbiz career.

The actress posted a recent photo of herself and revealed that she just realised that she had entered her 17th year in showbiz, and jokingly pretended she was younger than her age by saying that she entered showbiz "at the age of ten".

"To my fans I say: Thank you for always loving me. For some fans, it is a long promise. I hope to continue to grow together and grow old together. To myself I say: Keep working hard," she wrote.

The 39-year-old Selena marked her showbiz career in 2003, when she joined the Miss Hong Kong pageant and subsequently won Miss Photogenic and Miss Talent. She then signed with TVB and made her debut through the medical drama, "The Last Breakthrough".

It was only last year that she finally won an award - Most Popular Female Character - from the said broadcaster, sharing the stage with actress Miriam Yeung. She had also won various acting accolades outside of Hong Kong.
