Selena Gomez is back at it with Puma to help introduce another new sneaker this summer, the Defy.
Adored by millions of fans across the globe, the singer, actress, and social media powerhouse is one of Puma’s biggest ambassadors, and she brings her value to the brand once again to promote the latest stylish women’s sneaker. Hailed by the brand as the “ultimate inspiration for daring women” and the muse behind the shoe’s design, Gomez models the Defy while also wearing a sizzling Puma workout outfit in the campaign’s promotional images.
The shoe itself is an amalgamation of a sporty performance trainer and a casual design inspired by the current chunky sneaker trend. The upper is constructed in a performance knit material that offers a sleek, lightweight fit, with triangular TPU reinforcement at the base for extra support and a bit of flair. The training shoe-inspired upper sits atop a platform sole (that seems to take inspiration from Rihanna’s Puma Creeper line) to add the casual aesthetic.
