Sean Lee says he never intended for relationship to be a secret
12 Jul - Sean Lee recently stated that he wasn't at all trying to hide his marriage with model Bay Doucet from public knowledge.
The actor, who surprised many by sharing news of his marriage and photos from his wedding earlier this week, stated that both he and Bay wanted a more private ceremony, which is why they only invited 200 guests to their wedding.
"Our relationship had never been a secret among family and close friends. I truly appreciate them for respecting our privacy," he said.
Sean stated that since the two of them have to share lots of things with the public being celebrities in their own right, they wanted some things to be kept only to themselves, including their love.
Sean said that the two of them started as friends on social media, until he decided to send Bay a direct message on Instagram.
"But the rest of it, let it be a history between us," he said.
As for baby plans, Sean said that they would like to spend more time being husband and wife first before welcoming a child.
"I hope that I am able to reorganise my work so that I can take my wife on a honeymoon at the end of the year. We want to spend more time just the two of us for now. As for children, I will let nature takes its course," he said.
