Scorpions include Malaysia in 50th Anniversary World Tour

The German rock band has announced that Malaysia will be included in their 50th Anniversary World Tour

Previously we reported that legendary German rock band Scorpions is set to have a one-night show in Singapore this October for their 50th Anniversary World Tour, and now, the band has added Malaysia on their list!

The long-running rock band made the announcement via their official Facebook, "Scorpions will be bringing the 2016 World Tour to Malaysia this fall!"

Known to be Europe's most successful rock band, the band consists of longtime members Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (guitar) and Matthias Jabs (guitar), alongside James Kottak (drums) and Pawel Maciwoda (bass).

They have released 18 studio albums, 27 compilation albums and 74 singles, and six of those singles have reached number one on the charts in different countries.

The band is most popular for their song "Winds of Change" from their best-selling album to date "Crazy World" (1990).



Though the exact venue and ticketing details are yet to be announced, it is confirmed that the concert will take place on Saturday, 29 October 2016 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
