Gone are the days when going to work means being stuck in a drab grey office for eight hours.

The Working Capitol’s newest co-working and lifestyle space in Singapore’s CBD cannot be any less similar to the conventional workplace of old.

For one, parts of its interiors were painted by renowned Singapore-based artist Steve Lawler, aka Mojoko, and designed by Australian firm HASSELL, in order to create an engaging and fun space for people to work in.

Paul Semple, one of HASELL’s Singapore Principals, said: “We’ve given a tailored edge to the raw. Playful graphic forms and colours are fundamental to the design, creating a polished and urban experience that will set TWC apart from the crowd.”

Furniture in the co-working space are also custom-built, keeping in line with The Working Capitol’s human-centric space design.

Businesses can select from a range of hotdesks, private offices and duplex penthouses at The Working Capitol on Robinson.

Businesses can also take advantage of the building’s vibrant lifestyle offerings such as a 20m outdoor lap pool, a boutique gym space, a sky garden, as well as a bar and member’s lounge.

Like The Working Capitol’s flagship facility on Keong Saik Road, the Robinson Road facility will also feature a consistent array of events such as monthly mixers, members’ lunch, music unplugged sessions and skills-sharing series by industry leaders.

The Working Capitol’s Co-Founder and Chief Culture Officer Saranta Gattie said, “Everything we do – from the design of the place to our passion for curated events – is rooted in the belief that working in an environment that does not inspire or address the human needs is not optimal.”

“The best ideas can live and grow if the immediate surrounding puts people first. That also helps to fortify communities, facilitate collaborations and drive personal well-being and professional growth towards positive business outcomes. That’s what all our spaces have in common,” she continued.
