This story contains spoilers for Saw X.

Saw X just hit theaters last weekend, and fans of the grizzly horror series are already hungry for more. The movie—which takes place between the events of Saw and Saw II—follows John Kramer (AKA Jigsaw) as he travels to Mexico for a life-saving medical procedure. When he discovers the treatment is a scam, Kramer decides to punish the con artists behind it.

You’ll have to watch all 118 minutes of Saw X to see how Kramer's plan works out, but rest assured, that’s not all this sequel has to offer. After the film, there’s a mid-credits scene that teases the next leg of the franchise. During the clip, you’ll see Henry—who is one of Jigsaw’s first victims—in captivity. Here's the twist: the person responsible for Henry’s torturous end is not Amanda, Jigsaw's infamous assistant, but Mark Hoffman, a police officer turned co-conspirator.

Though Hoffman is first introduced in Saw III, his appearance proves that his relationship with Jigsaw dates back even further. Interesting! In a posts-screening Q&A, per Men’s Health, Saw producers Mark Burg and Oren Koules confirmed that the eleventh (!) movie will focus on Hoffman. “Oren and myself are superstitious so we never talk about another movie until this movie opens,” Burg said. “But should this movie open well, and should Lionsgate want to make another one, that’s exactly where we’re going with the next one.”

If there’s one thing we’ve learned about Saw, it’s that its creators are always two steps ahead. While we hope to see Hoffman’s story take center stage, it might be a while before the film comes to fruition. In the meantime, you can watch Saw X in theaters and catch up on the previous films below.
