Sarah Song has left TVB
1 Aug – TV personality Sarah Song recently announced that she has left TVB after 12 years.
The television host shared the news on Instagram, writing, "12 years ago, I chanced upon a life changing opportunity, found my way from Sydney to Hong Kong, TVB took me under their wing and from then on it has been an unforgettable journey.
"I have been blessed with so many great people around me, those who have had the patience and kindness to help me achieve my goals. A huge heartfelt thank you to each and everyone of you! I especially have to thank the [Scoop] and Dolce Vita family for all the opportunities, allowing me to grow so much over the years."
Sarah admitted that the decision to leave the company hasn't been easy to her, but that her family has given her the courage and strength to "jump out" of her comfort zone.
"Becoming a mother has only made me stronger and more ready to take on the challenges ahead. I hope to broaden my horizons, aim higher and to make my family proud!" she added.
Celebrity friends quickly left encouraging messages for the actress. Fala Chen, who had also left TVB, wrote, "So proud and happy for you", while Linda, who departed from the company last year wrote, "Bless you with an amazing journey ahead."
As for husband Jason Chan, the actor wrote, "... so many great people around me" she was mainly talking about me. So much to do, so much to film."
