Sarah Geronimo wins Album of the Year again

The singer wins Awit Awards' Album of the Year for "The Great Unknown"

9 Dec - Pop princess Sarah Geronimo bagged the most coveted award of the recently held 2016 Awit Awards.

As reported on PEP News, Geronimo, who made her comeback recently after a two-month hiatus, won Album of the Year for "The Great Unknown", making it her second time winning the award consecutively.

She won the same category for last year's "Perfectly Imperfect".

Geronimo took to Facebook to thank her record label, Viva Records and her fans for their continuous support.

Meanwhile, Alden Richards was named one of the big winners of the night, winning Most Downloaded Artist, Most Downloaded Song for his title song "Wish I May", and Best Selling Album of the Year for the album of the same name.
